GVAA is committed to providing top quality coaching, and competition for all kids 4 years old thru 8th grade that want to learn how to wrestle.
Our goal is to prepare the kids for high school wrestling by teaching fundamentals and hard work.

Our program will compete in the Mid Maryland Wrestling League (MMWL).  MMWL is comprised of 14 teams across Frederick County with several hundred kids participating.

Our season typically runs from the end of October through mid March.  Practice is 2-3 times per week starting the end of October..

Starting the first weekend in January through the last weekend in February, wrestlers will participate in weekly matches against other wrestlers in the league (typically held on Sunday, with occasional Saturday evening matches).  Wrestlers are matched up as evenly as possible based on experience, skill level, age, and weight.  The locations and times of the meets will be determined around mid-December.  The meets usually last about 3-4 hours.

Registration opens mid September and closes the first week of December. $25 Multiple sibling discount.
